3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.
7 And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.
The word “Mystery” implies a knowledge or practice that is hidden from the public, only known to the initiated. Satan, when he was still Lucifer, was one of two arch angels in charge of using his wings to “cover” the throne of God. By covering it, he kept others from seeing it until the Lord wanted Himself revealed. Once he became a fallen angel, he perverted this practice of covering up something important by creating mystery cults where ancient knowledge was somehow revealed perversely to those who desired to be initiated into this hidden knowledge.
The Tower of Babel marked a milestone in man’s common knowledge combined with a mysterious element that led God to destroy the tower and confound the language of man into many different languages. The mighty empire of ancient Egypt marked the beginning of using a major system of human government to be founded on a mystery cult, which is what the Pharaoh system was based on. But it wasn’t until the founding of the great Babylonian empire under Nebuchadnezzar that the mystery cult went to another level of deep mysteries and complex mysteries that governs the mysteries till this day.
In Daniel 2, we see a description of a statue where Babylon is the head of gold. What made Babylon special? It’s the fact that mystery cults were organized as a way to run a major government using a shadow government system. So the Mother of Harlots spoken of in Revelation 17 and 18 is a system of men and women who are initiated into the ancient mysteries, which are largely centered on rebellion against the Lord God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the same father of Jesus Christ, Son of God. Satan created this system to ensure that his children “ride the beast” (government systems mostly run by Gentiles) behind a cloak of intentional mystery. The mystery conceals the identity of these rebellious men and women, who change allegiances when they no longer have any use for a government. This is why Babylon soon gave way to Persia, and Persia gave way to Greece, and Greece gave way to Rome. And Rome gave way to the two-legged Western Byzantine and Eastern Orthodox/Islamic government systems. But the next transition from these monarchy-based government systems to the iron-clay mixed democratic-republican-Marxist systems was the crowning jewel of the millennia-old mystery shadow government system.
From roughly the 1600s until the 1900s, Mystery Babylon the Great rode the beast into a horror-filled, murderous, orgy-tainted, blasphemous descent into the abyss of darkness based on utter deception and fraud. The blood-thirsty Mother of Harlots gave birth to many shadow “daughter harlot” government systems based on the deceit of democracy, republicanism, Marxism, capitalism, socialism, Leninism, Stalinism, Nazism, false flag terrorism and others. Monarchies, with their tight marriage between religion, royalty and devoted citizenry, was too tough to break and mold, so the Mother of Harlots was busy chipping away at royalty for all those centuries. The major monarchies of Britain, Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Austria, Russia, the Ottomans, China, Japan, among other monarchies, were broken to pieces by the end of WWI. All of the horror-filled violence of these so-called revolutions included rapes of women and children, mass beheadings, mass hangings, grotesque mutilations, people cut in half alive, people burned alive in ovens like food, mass shootings, sex with corpses by sadistic rebels, eating of human body parts, cutting open of pregnant women, crushing pregnant women in wine and fruit presses, throwing children out of towers to catch them on bayonets, and other sick cruelties that the Mother of Harlots had the children of Satan imagine and enjoy! May the Lord bless those many victims whose bodies were piled in pyramids and left to lie on the streets of these crushed nations. Thus, in roughly 300 years, the monarchy system that ruled mankind since ancient Egypt came to an end as predicted by Daniel 2.
The Bible uses the word “horror” when warning us about Mystery Babylon the Great Mother of Harlots:
Horror hath taken hold upon me because of the wicked that forsake thy law.
Ezekiel Chapter 7
16 But they that escape of them shall escape, and shall be on the mountains like doves of the valleys, all of them mourning, every one for his iniquity.
17 All hands shall be feeble, and all knees shall be weak [as] water.
18 They shall also gird [themselves] with sackcloth, and horror shall cover them; and shame [shall be] upon all faces, and baldness upon all their heads.
19 They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity.
And the Bible speaks of her harlotries as well:
Ezekiel Chapter 23
2 Son of man, there were two women, the daughters of one mother:
3 And they committed whoredoms in Egypt; they committed whoredoms in their youth: there were their breasts pressed, and there they bruised the teats of their virginity.
4 And the names of them [were] Aholah the elder, and Aholibah her sister: and they were mine, and they bare sons and daughters. Thus [were] their names; Samaria [is] Aholah, and Jerusalem Aholibah.
5 And Aholah played the harlot when she was mine; and she doted on her lovers, on the Assyrians [her] neighbours…
Ezekiel Chapter 23
34 Thou shalt even drink it and suck [it] out, and thou shalt break the sherds thereof, and pluck off thine own breasts: for I have spoken [it], saith the Lord GOD.
35 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast forgotten me, and cast me behind thy back, therefore bear thou also thy lewdness and thy whoredoms.
Ezekiel Chapter 23
42 And a voice of a multitude being at ease [was] with her: and with the men of the common sort [were] brought Sabeans from the wilderness, which put bracelets upon their hands, and beautiful crowns upon their heads.
43 Then said I unto [her that was] old in adulteries, Will they now commit whoredoms with her, and she [with them]?
44 Yet they went in unto her, as they go in unto a woman that playeth the harlot: so went they in unto Aholah and unto Aholibah, the lewd women.
45 And the righteous men, they shall judge them after the manner of adulteresses, and after the manner of women that shed blood; because they [are] adulteresses, and blood [is] in their hands.
36 The LORD said moreover unto me; Son of man, wilt thou judge Aholah and Aholibah? yea, declare unto them their abominations;
37 That they have committed adultery, and blood [is] in their hands, and with their idols have they committed adultery, and have also caused their sons, whom they bare unto me, to pass for them through [the fire], to devour [them].
But Bible prophecy tell us that the Mystery of this Mother of Harlots will be exposed, including her terrorism, for she is the mother of terrorism, and the mystery here is that most of the world does not know the true source of terrorism because the veil of mystery is based on false flag operations that trick the public into blaming the wrong enemy. She will fall from her lofty position in a most spectacular fashion:
Ezekiel Chapter 26
15 Thus saith the Lord GOD to Tyrus; Shall not the isles shake at the sound of thy fall, when the wounded cry, when the slaughter is made in the midst of thee?
16 Then all the princes of the sea shall come down from their thrones, and lay away their robes, and put off their broidered garments: they shall clothe themselves with trembling; they shall sit upon the ground, and shall tremble at [every] moment, and be astonished at thee.
17 And they shall take up a lamentation for thee, and say to thee, How art thou destroyed, [that wast] inhabited of seafaring men, the renowned city, which wast strong in the sea, she and her inhabitants, which cause their terror [to be] on all that haunt it!
18 Now shall the isles tremble in the day of thy fall; yea, the isles that [are] in the sea shall be troubled at thy departure.
19 For thus saith the Lord GOD; When I shall make thee a desolate city, like the cities that are not inhabited; when I shall bring up the deep upon thee, and great waters shall cover thee;
20 When I shall bring thee down with them that descend into the pit, with the people of old time, and shall set thee in the low parts of the earth, in places desolate of old, with them that go down to the pit, that thou be not inhabited; and I shall set glory in the land of the living;
21 I will make thee a terror, and thou [shalt be] no [more]: though thou be sought for, yet shalt thou never be found again, saith the Lord GOD.
Ezekiel Chapter 27
34 In the time [when] thou shalt be broken by the seas in the depths of the waters thy merchandise and all thy company in the midst of thee shall fall.
35 All the inhabitants of the isles shall be astonished at thee, and their kings shall be sore afraid, they shall be troubled in [their] countenance.
36 The merchants among the people shall hiss at thee; thou shalt be a terror, and never [shalt be] any more.
Ezekiel Chapter 28
17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.
18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.
19 All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never [shalt] thou [be] any more.
15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.
16 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.
17 For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.
18 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.
1 And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.
2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.
3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.
4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.
6 Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.
7 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.
8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.
9 And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,
10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.
11 And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more:
12 The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble,
13 And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men.
14 And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all.
15 The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing,
16 And saying, Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!
17 For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off,
18 And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city!
19 And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.
20 Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.
21 And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.
22 And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee;
23 And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.
24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.
But the Lord gives us hope in the midst of the current terrorism of Mystery Babylon the Great:
1 Peter Chapter 3
12 For the eyes of the Lord [are] over the righteous, and his ears [are open] unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord [is] against them that do evil.
13 And who [is] he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?
14 But and if ye suffer for righteousness’ sake, happy [are ye]: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;
15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and [be] ready always to [give] an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear
